Floor tiles that sound hollow or sit unevenly
A hollow tap or an uneven edge usually means the tile has lost its bond to the substrate underneath, and left alone it becomes a tripping hazard or an entry point for water. Most mason jobs start at around ₱1,200: ₱700 goes directly to your mason for the labour, and ₱500 is your KuyaYos service guarantee (warranty, back-job coverage, dispute protection, and free re-matching if your tradesperson cancels). Your mason confirms the exact price on-site before any work begins, and materials, if any, are quoted separately.

How fast can a mason arrive?
Are your masons vetted and NBI-cleared?
Yes. Every mason on KuyaYos presents a valid NBI clearance and government-issued ID, and goes through a direct conversation with the KuyaYos team before they take their first booking. Many also hold relevant TESDA credentials, which we surface during matching when the job calls for them.
Are materials included in the quote?
No. Labour and materials are quoted separately. Your mason lists exactly what is needed (cement, sand, hollow blocks, tiles, waterproofing compound) at supplier price, and you pay only for what is actually used. This keeps the line-item clear and avoids the mystery markups that hide inside flat "all-in" quotes.
What if the job turns out bigger than expected on-site?
Your mason confirms the final price in person before work starts, within the published range for the job category. If the scope grows mid-job, for example a wall repair that reveals corroded rebar underneath, work pauses and you approve the revised scope before anyone touches the next step. You are never billed for work you have not signed off on.
