KuyaYos connects households, SMEs and HoA groups in Metro Manila with vetted independent tradespeople. We are the trust layer between you and the person who shows up at your door.

What we do

Metro Manila has plenty of skilled tradespeople. Plumbers, electricians, aircon technicians, carpenters, masons, welders, roofers, painters, handymen, and gardeners. What it does not have is a reliable way for ordinary households and businesses to find them without rolling the dice on Facebook Marketplace.

KuyaYos is a booking service. We vet tradespeople, match each customer to one near them, and help if something goes wrong. We do not employ the tradespeople, and we do not do the work ourselves. The tradesperson assigned to your job is an independent professional. Our job is the trust layer on top.

How we vet

Every tradesperson in our network goes through these checks before they can accept their first booking:

• Valid NBI clearance and government-issued ID, confirmed in person.
• Review of trade background, certifications, and references where applicable.
• A conversation with the KuyaYos team to talk through experience and approach.
• Ongoing review based on customer feedback after every job.

We do not promise perfect outcomes. We promise that nobody gets to take a booking on KuyaYos without us checking them out first. Anyone who stops meeting our standards is removed from the network.

Where we operate

We cover Metro Manila. All 16 cities and 1 municipality of NCR. Most of our early bookings come from the Diliman, Eastwood, and Tomas Morato area in Quezon City, where we have the most tradespeople ready to go.

If you live just outside Metro Manila (Rizal, Cavite, Bulacan), message us on Messenger. We will let you know if we can send someone. Coverage outside NCR is not guaranteed yet.

How we charge

When you book, you pay a flat ₱500 visitation fee upfront. You pay this to KuyaYos via GCash or direct bank transfer. It secures your booking and pays for your tradesperson's arrival and on-site assessment.

Your tradesperson visits the site, looks at the job in person, and confirms the final price with you on-site. The price is within the range published for your service type on the pricing page. The on-site price is based on what they find, the complexity of the work, and current industry rates.

The ₱500 visitation fee is credited toward your final bill. For jobs above ₱500, you pay the remaining balance to KuyaYos before work begins. For jobs at or below ₱500, the visitation fee is the total charge.

You can cancel up to 2 hours before your appointment for a full refund. Within 2 hours, or once the tradesperson is dispatched, the fee is non-refundable. The full rules (including force majeure, tradesperson cancellations, and refunds) are on the Cancellation & Payment Policy page.

Tradespeople pay no application fee to join KuyaYos. We earn a small platform margin from each completed booking, built into the price you pay. We do not charge customers any platform fee on top of the quote.

Who this is for

Three audiences shape how we work:

• Households. One-off fixes, scheduled around your day. Same business-day matching, clear quotes, no chasing.
• SMEs. Recurring maintenance through one channel. BIR-ready receipts, scheduled visits, volume pricing on multi-job contracts.
• HoA groups. Building-wide arrangements. One coordinator across all units, common-area work handled by vetted pros, quarterly schedules.
