How fast can a carpenter arrive?
Small repairs are booked for a day you pick, and messages are answered 24/7. Same-day visits are limited and depend on who is free nearby. Custom builds like cabinets, shelving and closets start with a scheduled measure-up.
Who sources the materials?
Your carpenter can source materials at supplier price and list them for you. If you prefer a brand or finish, or want to supply your own, tell us in the booking notes.
How long does a custom build take?
It depends on the size. Your carpenter gives you a realistic timeline at the measure-up, before any work starts.
Are your carpenters vetted?
Yes. Every carpenter shows a valid NBI clearance and a government ID and talks with our team before their first job. Customers rate the work after every booking, and anyone whose standards slip is removed from the network.
How do I prepare for the visit?
Clear the area, take photos of the door, cabinet or space, and note any measurements you already have. For a custom build, share a reference photo of the look you want.
How much will the job cost?
Your carpenter looks at the job and confirms the final price on-site before any work starts. You pay them directly in cash or GCash once the work is done. KuyaYos takes no commission. Materials are quoted separately, at supplier price, and you pay only for what is used. If the job turns out bigger once work starts, it pauses until you approve the new price.
What is the ₱525 service guarantee?
It is the flat fee you pay KuyaYos by GCash or bank transfer when you book. It covers vetting, matching, a 1-month warranty on the carpenter's work and a back job if the same problem returns. It is not deducted from the price of the work, and it is refunded if we cannot find a tradesperson or you cancel before one is assigned. To use the warranty, message us with your booking reference.
Is there an ocular fee?
Only if no work is done. If the carpenter inspects the job and you decide not to go ahead, you pay them ₱700 for the ocular. If you go ahead, the ₱700 is deducted from the labor. KuyaYos charges no inspection fee of its own.
Which areas do you cover?
All of Metro Manila. Our office is in Quezon City, where our network is largest, and we also send carpenters to Manila, Makati, Pasig, Taguig, Mandaluyong, Marikina, Caloocan, Parañaque and the rest of the metro. Book from anywhere in Metro Manila and we confirm we can send a carpenter. If we cannot, your ₱525 is refunded.
