Questions, answered
How fast can a roofer arrive?
Most jobs are booked for a day you pick, and messages are answered 24/7, so you can book any time. Same-day visits are limited and depend on who is free nearby. For a storm leak, message us on Messenger and move valuables away from the drip while you wait.
Can you trace a leak from a ceiling stain?
Yes. Water runs along rafters before it drips, so the stain is often not under the leak. Your roofer traces it back to the real break, such as flashing, a lifted sheet or a failed seal, and fixes the source.
Are your roofers vetted?
Yes. Every roofer shows a valid NBI clearance and a government ID and talks with our team before their first job. Customers rate the work after every booking, and anyone whose standards slip is removed from the network.
When should I fix my roof?
Before the rainy season if you can. Rust spots, loose sheets, clogged gutters and ceiling stains are signs to book a check before the next heavy rain.
How do I prepare for the visit?
Tell us how many floors the house has, take photos of any ceiling stains, and make sure there is a safe way up to the roof or a place to set up a ladder.
How much will the job cost?
Your roofer looks at the job and confirms the final price on-site before any work starts. You pay them directly in cash or GCash once the work is done. KuyaYos takes no commission. Sheets, sealant and fasteners are quoted separately, at supplier price, and you pay only for what is used. If the job turns out bigger once work starts, it pauses until you approve the new price.
What is the ₱525 service guarantee?
It is the flat fee you pay KuyaYos by GCash or bank transfer when you book. It covers vetting, matching, a 1-month warranty on the roofer's work and a back job if the same problem returns. It is not deducted from the price of the work, and it is refunded if we cannot find a tradesperson or you cancel before one is assigned. To use the warranty, message us with your booking reference.
Is there an ocular fee?
Only if no work is done. If the roofer inspects the job and you decide not to go ahead, you pay them ₱700 for the ocular. If you go ahead, the ₱700 is deducted from the labor. KuyaYos charges no inspection fee of its own.
Which areas do you cover?
All of Metro Manila. Our office is in Quezon City, where our network is largest, and we also send roofers to Manila, Makati, Pasig, Taguig, Mandaluyong, Marikina, Caloocan, Parañaque and the rest of the metro. Book from anywhere in Metro Manila and we confirm we can send a roofer. If we cannot, your ₱525 is refunded.
