How fast can an electrician arrive?
Most jobs are booked for a day you pick, and messages are answered 24/7, so you can book any time. Same-day visits are limited and depend on who is free nearby. For sparking, a burning smell or exposed wires, switch off the breaker and message us on Messenger right away.
Do I need a permit?
Most home repairs do not. Major rewiring, panel upgrades and service-line changes usually do. Your electrician tells you on-site before starting.
Are your electricians vetted?
Yes. Every electrician shows a valid NBI clearance and a government ID and talks with our team before their first job. Customers rate the work after every booking, and anyone whose standards slip is removed from the network.
Why does my breaker keep tripping?
Usually too many appliances on one circuit, a damaged wire or a faulty appliance. Your electrician tests the circuit, finds the cause and explains the fix before doing it. Do not tape or hold a breaker on.
How do I prepare for the visit?
Know where your breaker panel is and keep the area around it clear. Note which outlets or lights are affected and when the problem started. Photos help.
How much will the job cost?
Your electrician looks at the job and confirms the final price on-site before any work starts. You pay them directly in cash or GCash once the work is done. KuyaYos takes no commission. Materials are quoted separately, at supplier price, and you pay only for what is used. If the job turns out bigger once work starts, it pauses until you approve the new price.
What is the ₱525 service guarantee?
It is the flat fee you pay KuyaYos by GCash or bank transfer when you book. It covers vetting, matching, a 1-month warranty on the electrician's work and a back job if the same problem returns. It is not deducted from the price of the work, and it is refunded if we cannot find a tradesperson or you cancel before one is assigned. To use the warranty, message us with your booking reference.
Is there an ocular fee?
Only if no work is done. If the electrician inspects the job and you decide not to go ahead, you pay them ₱700 for the ocular. If you go ahead, the ₱700 is deducted from the labor. KuyaYos charges no inspection fee of its own.
Which areas do you cover?
All of Metro Manila. Our office is in Quezon City, where our network is largest, and we also send electricians to Manila, Makati, Pasig, Taguig, Mandaluyong, Marikina, Caloocan, Parañaque and the rest of the metro. Book from anywhere in Metro Manila and we confirm we can send a electrician. If we cannot, your ₱525 is refunded.
