How often should I clean my aircon?
Every 3 to 4 months for most homes, every 2 to 3 months in dusty areas or for units that run all day. A yearly check of the refrigerant, electricals and drain is a good idea too.
Why is my aircon not cooling?
The most common causes are a dirty filter or coil, low refrigerant, a blocked drain or a failing capacitor or compressor. Your technician checks the unit and tells you the cause and the price before fixing it.
Why is my aircon leaking water?
Usually a clogged drain line or a dirty coil. A cleaning often fixes it. If it keeps leaking, the technician checks the drain slope and the unit's installation.
Is there a warranty?
Yes. The work is covered by a 1-month warranty under the ₱525 service guarantee. If the same problem comes back within a month, we send a technician back. Replacement parts carry their own manufacturer warranty.
Are your technicians trained?
Every technician shows a valid NBI clearance and a government ID and is vetted by our team before their first job. They are reviewed after every booking.
How much will the job cost?
Your technician looks at the job and confirms the final price on-site before any work starts. You pay them directly in cash or GCash once the work is done. KuyaYos takes no commission. Parts and refrigerant are quoted separately, and your technician tells you what is needed before starting. If the job turns out bigger once work starts, it pauses until you approve the new price.
What is the ₱525 service guarantee?
It is the flat fee you pay KuyaYos by GCash or bank transfer when you book. It covers vetting, matching, a 1-month warranty on the technician's work and a back job if the same problem returns. It is not deducted from the price of the work, and it is refunded if we cannot find a tradesperson or you cancel before one is assigned. To use the warranty, message us with your booking reference.
Is there an ocular fee?
Only if no work is done. If the technician inspects the job and you decide not to go ahead, you pay them ₱700 for the ocular. If you go ahead, the ₱700 is deducted from the labor. KuyaYos charges no inspection fee of its own.
Which areas do you cover?
All of Metro Manila. Our office is in Quezon City, where our network is largest, and we also send technicians to Manila, Makati, Pasig, Taguig, Mandaluyong, Marikina, Caloocan, Parañaque and the rest of the metro. Book from anywhere in Metro Manila and we confirm we can send a technician. If we cannot, your ₱525 is refunded.
